The Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) is a non-profit organization chartered with raising the level of competitiveness, performance, and profitability of Utah's manufacturers.
Small and mid-sized manufacturers account for more than half of U.S. production. However, private consulting firms tend to serve large companies because of simple economics. As a result, smaller companies are left to their own devices to develop strategies, access the latest technologies, and implement the newest management & manufacturing practices. The MEP leverages state and federal support, along with a network of Utah-based public and private resources to assist in providing services to manufacturers.
Recently, Utah State University completed an economic impact study for MEP Utah. The 2007 study evaluated the impact of 72 recent MEP projects, demonstrating that MEP Utah services have created or retained 2,543 jobs; more than $399 million of additional industrial output; more than $87 million of additional employee compensation; and more than $10.5 million of additional indirect business taxes.
The objective of the MEP is to make a bottom-line impact on your business. We accomplish this by; identifying the 5-10 most important things your organization should be doing, helping your management team turn this task list into a prioritized Strategic Activity List©, managing your Activity List, and then helping overcome barriers to implementation.

ABOUT QuikSigma®
QuikSigma® is the "next generation" of Six Sigma training. It is organized the same way as Six Sigma, using the tools in concert to produce far greater effect than individually. Other software programs organize the tools as they were before Six Sigma emerged, like a statistics textbook. If you recognize the advantages of Six Sigma’s method of organizing tools, why would you settle for software that is organized the old-fashioned way? The structure of QuikSigma® is more than a convenience. It greatly enhances the power of Six Sigma.
