This course is specifically designed for small companies who only need a few
Belts and for large companies who have belts that need training and are between
waves.
Green Belt training is specialized for operations, HR, Sales, Marketing, Mfg.
and other less data intensive professions. These people need strong methodical
problem solving tools, but also need simpler yet powerful statistical tools.
Training format is four days in class, a month working on the projects,
another four days in class, and so on, with project coaching sessions between
classes.

MEP Utah Presents at National SBDC Conference
NIST MEP
participated in the 25th Association of Small Business Development Centers
(ASBDC) Conference held in Baltimore, Maryland in September. Barry Bartlett with
MEP Utah helped to present LEAN, Not Just for Manufacturing
Anymore.
The presentation was well received by the SBDC counselors
and encouraged new opportunities for collaboration to serve additional
manufacturers.
